Core Values at Atlanta Interventional Institute

Dr. John Lipman

The Atlanta Interventional Institute is a world renowned medical practice dedicated to the treatment of uterine fibroids under the care of Dr. John Lipman. Because fibroids are a sensitive medical condition for women, who may experience a wide range of embarrassing symptoms, the Atlanta Interventional Institute has developed a set of distinctive core values that improve the quality of care for every patient. Professionalism, customer service, education, teamwork, and understanding are the pillars of quality care at Atlanta Interventional Institute. With these values in place, patients are guaranteed the highest quality treatment in a caring and nuturing environment from a team of experts in the treatment of uterine fibroids.

Dr. Lipman has one of the world's largest experience in the non-surgical treatment of uterine fibroids. He has performed well over 5,000 UFE procedures and lectures to and trains physicians from all over the world on these techniques. This high quality personalized service is evident to every patient the moment they arrive at the practice. It is our goal to exceed every patient's expectations in a caring and pleasing environment. Every patient will have their own nurse (1:1 patient/nurse ratio) whose only responsibility is to care for them throughout their visit to the Center. In addition, every patient has Dr. Lipman's cell phone number in order to give patients 24/7 access to Dr. Lipman and reassure them throughout their recovery.

Dr. Lipman has treated patients throughout Georgia, the Southeastern United States, and from all over the world (particularly Africa and the Caribbean). He has trained in the most prestigious Medical Centers in the world including Harvard, Yale, and Georgetown.

He has been awarded Fellowship status in both the American College of Radiology & Society of Interventional Radiology which only ~10% of Radiologists ever achieve in their career.

He has received numerous awards including the 2014 Atlanta Business Chronicle Physician Healthcare Hero of the Year, Atlanta Magazine Top Docs, and Patients' Choice award from celebrating Georgia's favorite physicians.

Dr. Lipman is a Volunteer Physician at Good Samaritan of Cobb County, a nonprofit healthcare center for those without the means to afford care. He also volunteers as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Morehouse School of Medicine.
